Kitakyushu, June 27th, 2013 "We would like to congratulate you. Your full paper “ BUILDING GROUPS DESIGN STRATEGIES IN HOT-HUMID CLIMATE: A DENSE RESIDENTIAL PLANNING IN BANDUNG, INDONESIA” has been accepted by the  PLEA  2013 Scientific Committee to be presented at the conference as a poster. " This announcement should be a good news for me, since i have passed  out of 720 papers were submitted and only 162 papers were accepted, it is even only 22.5% who passed this selection. But then, the last sentence of announcement was told me, that my paper will ONLY a poster presentation. Yes, somehow...have to be admitted. my paper is not that good _ _!  Last time before submission, I felt, i made many mistake for my simulation and the result wasn't like as i had expected, that time i just think....okay this is my first try to a very very prestigious conference in building science like PLEA. Yattaaaa....finally Europe touched down! seem it is exaggerated :D Go to europe wasn't so easy for me. if i'm not a Japanese student like right now, it's nearly impossible i can afford the ticket that 8times from my monthly salary as a government employee in Indonesia ^-^ Last march i was join the International symposium for PhD student in Technische Universitat Graz, Austria. It was really amazing experience, first time went europe, even my scholarship hadn't transferred since December, challenge me so much. Ya, the visa to Europe not an easy things to handle, even I had invitation letter from TU Graz, it needs some extra money to proof that i'm not going become a vagrant, knocking around Austria :). Really surprising me, I got approval for visa application only 1day, since my friend in my univ, previously apply the same visa, had to back and forth to embassy nearly 3 times in Tokyo. Setahun sudah, kami sekeluarga tinggal di Kitakyushu, Jepang. Saya berangkat dahulu 6bulan sebelum mereka akhirnya bisa ikut menemani di Kitakyushu. Bukan perjalanan yang singkat dan mudah hidup di negeri orang, dengan bahasa yang nearly aliean baik di mata maupun di telinga. Selama 6bulan di Jepang, bahasa Jepang level tiarap tampaknya belum beranjak membaik,bisa dikatakan bisu tuli, modal kursus 4bulan sebelum berangkat dan 3bulan mengulang pelajaran dengan level yang samapun hampir tidak menolong. Bisa karena biasa akhirnya...dari surat2an semua berhuruf keriting, berkomunikasi dengan sensei2 anak2 100% dengan Bahasa Jepang, ditambah di lab...nearly no english at all. lengkaplah survival antara terpaksa, kliwat pede grammar udah no.kesekian dan kudu ngomong. Alhamdulillah...the power of kepepet somehow emang super miracle. walo masih tiarap rada mending dikit, yaaa paling ngga kalo diajak ngomong ngerti lahhh, walo kalo njawab belepotan,hahaha.... Dan sekarang anakku di kelas ...

Judulnya serem amat, every breath i take. hahaha... baru nyadar, judul basa inggris, kok tangan nulisnya basa ibu,parah pisan ga konsisten. ini gara2 kebanyakan nge-paper dari satu paper ke paper yang lain, mana kudu grammar checkin all the time pulak, nulis belum mikir kontennya masih mikir, itu bener pa kagak bahasanya. halaaahhh....gini nih kalo dari negara yang katanya berbahasa inggris bisa menghablurkan nasionalisme kek, kehilangan jati diri lah. ah....entahlah, yang jelas basa inggris itu PERLU!!!! orang di pesantren itu kalo ga ngomong arab ya inggris, kok ga pernah disebut kehilangan jati diri y?? gegege.. Dalian, January 10th 2012 Finally I open my Kopi Luwak (civet coffee) that should be an omiyage (gift) from Indonesia for someone in Dalian. Yes...I'm maniac of coffee..a black coffee, never put anything inside my coffee, just black as it is. For me, the black of coffee having a philosophy that...coffee is bitter, no matter famous it is, no matter how expensive for a cup, coffee is a coffee from Ethiopia and smuggled by a trader to plant in another country and finally come to South East Asia, then..now Indonesia become the 4th biggest coffee plantation in the world. I love coffee since i was in college, as an architecture student, coffee really help to boost my mood and especially my eyes to stay awake finish my drawing. until..I went to Japan 2years ago...I found Japanese love to drink black coffee...just black nothing add. Watching Japanese style..their humble, politeness, honesty, and all good manner...just looks like taste coffee as it is...black nothing add ...
