Black

Finally I open my Kopi Luwak (civet coffee) that should be an omiyage (gift) from Indonesia for someone in Dalian. Yes...I'm maniac of coffee..a black coffee, never put anything inside my coffee, just black as it is.
For me, the black of coffee having a philosophy that...coffee is bitter, no matter famous it is, no matter how expensive for a cup, coffee is a coffee from Ethiopia and smuggled by a trader to plant in another country and finally come to South East Asia, then..now Indonesia become the 4th biggest coffee plantation in the world.

I love coffee since i was in college, as an architecture student, coffee really help to boost my mood and especially my eyes to stay awake finish my drawing.
until..I went to Japan 2years ago...I found Japanese love to drink black coffee...just black nothing add.
Watching Japanese style..their humble, politeness, honesty, and all good manner...just looks like taste coffee as it is...black nothing add inside.
since then, i never put anything inside my coffee. i just love coffee as it is, bitter and smell so nice.

After went back from Japan, I learn a little bit about coffee..Indonesian coffee
yes..as the biggest archipelago country in the world, Indonesia provide may variety of coffee, every island has its speciality and taste. http://www.sca-indo.org/
Indonesian coffee is famous among the coffee lover, starbucks, coffeebean, dunkin donut, and many cafe in the world, but too bad, the expensive of the price at that prestigious place hasn't felt by the farmer.
The coffee bean from farmer were so cheap..even to make their children in a good education wasn't enough. The system for coffee trader haven't stand for the farmer, just the same cultivation in the Dutch period _ _! but now..the command is in the broker hand.

Then, I decided to join some coffee society...to learn more about coffee, and finally I become a seller now :) so I will proudly promote Indonesian coffee, as the 'diverse of taste' of coffee.

And me...just trying as a good black of coffee, honest, plain, humble..though it is bitter ^ ^

Going to Europe

Yattaaaa....finally Europe touched down! seem it is exaggerated :D Go to europe wasn't so easy for me. if i'm not a Japanese student like right now, it's nearly impossible i can afford the ticket that 8times from my monthly salary as a government employee in Indonesia ^-^ Last march i was join the International symposium for PhD student in Technische Universitat Graz, Austria. It was really amazing experience, first time went europe, even my scholarship hadn't transferred since December, challenge me so much. Ya, the visa to Europe not an easy things to handle, even I had invitation letter from TU Graz, it needs some extra money to proof that i'm not going become a vagrant, knocking around Austria :). Really surprising me, I got approval for visa application only 1day, since my friend in my univ, previously apply the same visa, had to back and forth to embassy nearly 3 times in Tokyo.
