A Family across the nation and ocean between Canada-China and Japan

I left my heart in Dalian, China. For sure it wasn't just a platitude

Wang Yupeng, he is my best friend, we met in Japan actually, and he is my lab's friend in Kitakyushu University, he already lived in Japan for 10years!!! his Nihongo and English (thanks for this) are amazing, so...he is the only person who help me a lot during my first stay in Japan. He might thought that what he had done just a simple and casual as a friend, but for an alien with totally blur Nihongo, he nearly like my angel.
And then, i have a chance to visit to Dalian (as a exchange student for 2months in DUT), China.
It was really nice moment i had, and i went to his home to visit his family. What a warm family and very nice. It was my first visit there in February 2012, when the spring festival (the biggest festival in China to celebrate Chinese New Year), and so surprise saw my hijab and asking so many questions about Islam. I show them the picture of Dalian mosque, which i came there once a week on Friday with only 40min by bus (even in Kitakyushu it is almost 2hr by car to go to mosque). They almost couldn't believe, there is a mosque and many Muslims in Dalian :D
2nd visit was last September 2012, i had another chance to join workshop in DUT for 3weeks, I met Wang and his family together, and it was my birthday when his mom call me to have a dinner in their home.
I really love this family. In October 2012, Wang already graduate for his doctor course, now he is in Canada doing his work as Prof. assistance

O forget, Rizwan is another best friend i ever have.
He is Pakistani, also a doctoral student in DUT. We met in a weird situation, asking whether i'm a muslim or not (since i use my hijab, so i just point to my head) and he look so surprise, dunno between knowing me a muslima, since it is very rare a muslim woman go outside or maybe i'm the first who using hijab in DUT he ever saw.
Since then, i have muslim friend at DUT,haha...  Even when we always had lunch or dinner together with other in muslim restaurant near DUT, someone will ask him whether i'm a muslim or not, and where i come from :D
Oya...there are many muslim restaurants around DUT, no need to cook by my self, and the result isssss... I GOT CHINESE FOOD SYNDROME!!! yes, i have an allergic for some flavoring food which contain monosodium glutamate (msg). Chinese food is famous put many flavoring in their dish.
One day i got an accident, fell down from stair and unconscious for a while, my ankle felt like broken and none around. The other day, Rizwan help me to accompany me to find massage place.  
Here, I do realize, live in the middle of nowhere outside of our home country, know none so...trust a stranger would be the most reliable situation :)
Rizwan, also gave me many new friends in Dalian, he introduce me to another foreigner with their family.
He is a brother to me,and also so funny guys with many girlfriends here and there,sooo uncountable _ _!, lucky me i'm married ^ ^

Aaaa...i do so bless, so..just always open your hand, provide any help to other and assured another hand will come whenever you need it.

Going to Europe

Yattaaaa....finally Europe touched down! seem it is exaggerated :D Go to europe wasn't so easy for me. if i'm not a Japanese student like right now, it's nearly impossible i can afford the ticket that 8times from my monthly salary as a government employee in Indonesia ^-^ Last march i was join the International symposium for PhD student in Technische Universitat Graz, Austria. It was really amazing experience, first time went europe, even my scholarship hadn't transferred since December, challenge me so much. Ya, the visa to Europe not an easy things to handle, even I had invitation letter from TU Graz, it needs some extra money to proof that i'm not going become a vagrant, knocking around Austria :). Really surprising me, I got approval for visa application only 1day, since my friend in my univ, previously apply the same visa, had to back and forth to embassy nearly 3 times in Tokyo.
