It seems dream come true, after had just become a doctor student for
only for 3months at Kitakyushu University, Japan, my Prof ask me to join
exchange student in China.
Of course...I will, and I'd love to go there for 2months.
So...here I'm in a freezing country, now just -3 (day) and -7 (night) and it will be -20 next January. Wow...!!!
And the heavy snow i ever saw is here in China, my first snow was in Japan, but...not that heavy
China was the country that i always want to go, even since i was 6years old girl. It was The Return of the Condor Heroes, a serial movie in 1983 with Andy Lau as an actor, makes me curious about China for the first time. The tradition, and the beauty of the land made me want to see directly. In my mind..this country have a damn power for anything, look at the culture, the product (God create the universe, but rest of them is Made in China).
This is the country even mentioned by our prophet, Muhammad SAW, that's way I always said to my self, "Yes,someday I will go there, and learn something" and Alhamdulillah...I'm here now.
China...could be the minority in all country in the world...but at least...as a minority it means they are available, and known! In Indonesia, I often heard many racist and discrimination for Chinese, and I believe it happen in many places.
1weeks here, and watch closely every single ways and their activities make me realize...this Chinese has a strong and taft character since all the limitation and restriction from the system of this country,it makes them not too complain for anything. They can survive in the worst condition...more over in a good condition, they will be excellent. So, I may not too amaze with American, European or Japanese...the young people there having good environment for anything, so it wont be surprise they got excellent achievement.
The temperature here...as a tropical guy,it freezes me crazy . My prof asked me, (when the first time I said yes, for this program) "are u will be fine with the minus? u even can't imagine how cold it will be" I said...I'm Indonesian, I can deal with the worst part in my country, so...just face it. (just don't want to let the good chance gone
) Yes, my country is a paradise, I always said it many times to my
students...we got all the thing in 1country, from mine, what is not
available in Indonesia? gold, silver, ferro, tin even uranium we have
it. and the foods?..more than amazing...various and many kind of fruits
can find here. and the temperature is amazing...with 25' - 33' along the
year, u can use bikini outside all night long and still
alive,hehehe..... But...so shame, this paradise country haven't awake
yet, still fall to sleep.
And if some one ask me (again and again) what is Indonesia exactly, i will tell them very detail, it is the biggest archipelago country in the world lies between the continent of Asia and Australia with more than 17.500 islands and over 300 ethnic group with each different language. It has 4th biggest population in the world, with 60% of population was dominated in Java (Jawa) So...if you never heard and know about Indonesia...think and remember again your Geographic subject at junior high school ^ ^ u might sleep when your teacher explain about the globe.
Indonesia should learn from China to run the country, simple, focus, and distinct, of course many things might not proper and should be left, but for the spirit, motivation and struggle we have to learn from China.
No facebook, twitter, youtube or any other social network, and surprisingly young people here more humble and just work hard, even still creative to find things to make fun.
For other, people might be said China is big because they have biggest population in the world, but i might say... u should live in China... watch and learn...and u will find out...this country really amazing
